Zhang Jiajia specializes in macroeconomics and digital economy. She has published over ten papers and economic commentaries in academic journals and mainstream media. She co-authored China’s Financial Reform Roadmap and China's Intelligent Finance Development Report (2019), and released the research report On China’s Neutral Interest Rate.

She holds a Ph.D. in Applied Economics from Renmin University of China.
